Hi, Anyone ever made any beaded dog collars for their dogs or embellished the nylon ones, or made any other type of

posting in rec.crafts.jewelry, beading is nevertheless not the most prominant method used by most of the readers of this
group. Most of us are silversmiths and goldsmiths, and the tradition of this group is more along the lines of at least
semi-professional level jewelry making and metalsmithing, rather than hobby level craft work. It's not prohibited here,
of course, just not the group where you'll find the most help with this type of question. . Most of the bead workers
on usenet can be found frequenting the bead groups, more than this one. While you're welcome to ask this here, you'll
likely have much more of a response on the bead groups, such as rec.crafts.beads, or others.. Embellishing dog collars,
while a fine endeavor in itself, is getting pretty far afield of "jewelry" making... Peter

Hi! I generally embellish the nylon ones for dogs, especially larger dogs. Smaller dogs and cats I vary between the
nylon collars and cloth collars. I generally make them up based on specific wants - color/s, types of beads, etc. so
